1832ce marks the year of the formation of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Linlithgow, the first Provincial Grand Master being Bro. William Downe Gillon, who held this office; from 1832ce to 1846ce.

Another journey was made to Edinburgh in June 1852ce when the Lodge met at the Anchor Tavern, Edinburgh, when after Raising, they proceeded to the College Yard for the inauguration of the Wellington Statue. See Web Page Lodge Kirknewton & Ratho No 85
