 RWM of the Celtic Brother Andrew Murray 1844

 Thomas Dundas 2nd Earl of Zetland, KG KT Born 5th February 1795 in Marylebone London Died 6th May 1873.

 A  British Nobleman and Politician in 1818 he was elected Whig  Member of Parliament of Richmond. Like his father was a prominent  Freemason, Lord Zetland was the United Grand Master Mason of all  England from 1844 to 1870.

 He married Sophia Jane the daughter of Sir Hedworth Williamson, on the 6th September 1823.

 Also became a Knight of the Thistle and resigned the order on being made a Knight of the Garter in 1872.

On the 5th July 1844 Our Brother the Honourable Earl of Zetland became an Affiliated Member of the Celtic Lodge 291.

The RWM Bro Andrew Murray Introduced our newly Affiliated Brother to the Brethren who gave him a warm and hearty welcome in to the Celtic Lodge. After the harmony the RWM closed the Mystic evening  and wished all a safe journey home.
