Mr James Henry Mapleson Italian Operatic Manager aged 42 was entered passed and raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason.

 

Bro James was also known as Colonel Mapleson an English Impresario and leading figure and instrumental in the development of Opera Production and help creating the careers of many Operatic Singers.

 

Bro Mapleson studied as a Singer and Violinist at the Royal Academy of Music in London and New York City, he also served in the Army.

 

Bro Mapleson organized a Tour of the British provinces with his Concert Company that included Operatic Singers such as Henriette Sontag, Luigi Lablanche and Pianist Sigismond Thalberg. In 1850 he led a Concert company which included Mezzo-soprano Pauline Viardot, he wrote as a Music critic for the Atlas.

 

Bro Mapleson travelled to Italy to study and in 1854 he sang in Verona under the Name of Enrico Mariani, returing to London in 1854, he gave concerts but soon developed vocal difficulty requiring an operation that destroted his voice.

 

In 1856 he founded the First Musical Agency in London. and produced the first adaptation of Michael William Belfe's The Bohemian Girl in London.

 

Mr Enrico Campobello an Artist aged 26 was entered passed and raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason. Bro Campobello real Name was Henry McLean Martin a Scots Baritone Married Clarice Sinco 2nd May 1874 London, both who worked along side many well known Operatic Singers of that time and Toured all over the World, and some of Bro Enrico's roles in Emir he sang and performed Saladin in 1874. Maurevet Huguenots in 1874. Count Arnheim Govenor of Pressburg 1877. Count Almaviva in the Mariage of Figaro. His good Lady Clarice performed in  the first Magic Flute as Papagena an Old Woman. They also Staged their Own Opera's and worked with Bro Colonel James Henry Mapleson Impresario's Italian Opera.
