The Celtic Lodge had not met for some time and in laying the Celtic Lodge Charter of 1821 on the table Brother Inglis read the following endorsement written thereon by Grand Secretary Brother David Reid:-

This is certify that Grand Lodge at the Quarterly Communication held on the 5th day of August 1920 passed the following resolution ;

That the Order of suspension passed on the Celtic Lodge Edinburgh and Leith No 291 David Reid

Brother Joseph Inglis then declared Lodge Celtic Edinburgh and Leith No 291 Reponed to its’ place on the Grand Roll of Scotland and proceeded to appoint the following Office Bearers:-

The Lodge Passed and Raised the Charter and a copy of the constitution and Laws of Grand Lodge of Scotland were laid on the table the Lodge then proceeded to the election of Office Bearers On the motion of Brother James Wood an Old Member of the Celtic Lodge seconded by Brother James Sime Waterston Brother

Lieutenant Colonel Edward J Inches DSO DL JP was unanimously elected Right Worshipful Master and Installed into the Chair of Solomon thereafter the following brethren were elected and Installed to the following Offices:-

The RWM Thanked the RW Installing Masters and Members of the Visiting Committee for Reponing the Celtic Lodge and RW Installing Master for the dignified and Impressive manner in which he had carried through the Ceremony

The Lodge was Thereafter closed in due and solemn form by RWM Brother Edward J Inches.
